A blog following my work progression whilst studying at Falmouth University. I have taken a production pathway in my third year and worked on two main projects: Luminocity and Crocodile Tears. As well as producing I have continued to learn animation software. I enjoy editing videos, illustration and projection mapping - which I do as part of the group Twisted Vision.

Motion Studies: Walk cycle again
So as part of our motion studies classes at the moment, we've been asked to film ourselves walking a normal walk and crazy walk. Then using the footage as guidance to animate ourselves. To start i rotoscoped my crazy walk to get the feel of the cycle.
Next up, i animated my normal walk. I'm fairly happy this although i need to improve the bounce in my step as i keep forgetting to put that in and also my arms dont look quite right when they swing.
The final clip is my crazy walk, i rushed this one but i feel it works the best! What can i learn from that! still a few things that need improving of course, but i'm pretty happy with this one!
Also i'm bald, not sure why!
