Third Year Project Concept: Water World

I've been thinking of various ideas for my third year project. I would like to pitch an idea, because it'll be a good experience, even if my idea doesn't get through. So over the holidays I would like to upload concept ideas for stories I've thought about.

Water World - Basic Story
- A planet covered in water
- People live on floating towns
- Planets within the same universe plan to capture water world. They intend to harness it's fuel
- Doing this will destroy water world's beautiful existence
- Protagonist has to save his/her/it's home town
