Post: Mel Script Intro

Today I had a basic introduction into mel script. I used basic controls like transforming shapes and creating naming boxes. I was able to keep up but it did seem a bit scary, I couldn't remember all of the control meanings. It would be a really handy skill to have, but I would need to practice quite a lot.

I've choosen to follow the Pre-producion pathway in my second year, but I would like to learn as much as I can on the post-preduction side of things as well. While I have time I've been attending the lectures and today we've learnt the basics of Nuke. Below is the finished product from my tutorial. I found the software a little tricky, but no real difficulties.
