Pre: Story Ideas

I'm still planning some story ideas and have come up with a few story lines:

1. Cruise ship characters decide to race around the world. Boat 1 is worried because he's hungry and falling behind. The people which happened to be on the boats while they decided to go off and have a race don't know what to suggest. A nurse comes up and calms the ship down and gives him some dinner. Later on Boat passes Boat 2, who is sore and run out of fuel. The Boat wins and gets his prize; another swimming pool. When thanked the nurse replies 'slow and steady wins the race'.

2. A nurse working in a concrete tower block shaped hospital. Irritated by everything, everyone and herself. Decides to transfer to work on a cruise ship, to see the world. After a 2 year waiting list she finally boards the ship. It doesn't go as well as she'd hoped. The majority of passengers she saw were sick from alcohol and sea sickness. They didn't appreciate her like her old patients. Plus it was so windy her hat kept blowing off. When the boat returned, she changed back to the comfort of land, but at a better hospital. The manager shook her head and told her ' the grass isn't always greener on the other side'.

3. A bored nurse working on a cruise ship thinks she sees a man over board. This attracts lots of attention. The nurse repeats. the boat passes a human in the water but they are not saved. Luckily another boat picks them up but they report the nurse. The nurse looses her job. 'Dont cry wolf'.

4. Ill passenger hurts their leg but don't want to see the nurse. They fall in the sea and have to be rescued. 'We often despise what is most useful to us'.

5. Nurse tries to help hurt passenger but they fall of the boat and break their leg. 'its useless attacking the insensible'.

6. The world runs low on nurses so they ask to borrow some from the past. use cruise liners to time travel. Nurse refuses to come. works with them to form a nurse plan. 'slow and steady wins the race'.
