Showreel 2014

A showreel of my work throughout my time at Falmouth Uni!

Whilst studying on the Animation and Visual Effects course Emma worked as a producer on two major projects; Crocodile Tears and Luminocity. In her free time she also helps co-run a projection mapping group called Twisted Vision, and creates motion graphics for stage designs at music events in and around Cornwall.

Crocodile Tears
Winner of the Royal Television Society Undergraduate Animation Award at the Student Television Awards 2014. A 2D animated short film about two crocodile con-artists who use sympathy to trick people out their money. Director: Darren Smith. Producer: Emma Walsh.

Luminocity:
A documentary following the development of a projection mapping installation which took place at the Fish Factory, Falmouth. The installation combines various styles of animation (2D, 3D, Live action, Stop motion) to visually explore industrialisation whilst being projected onto a city scape model.
Director: Nick Turner. Producer: Emma Walsh. Art Director / Motion Graphics: Freddie Horton. Motion Graphics: Ben Knights. Colour Grader: Toby Ellis. Set Builder: Chris Wootton.

Crocodile Tears: Updates! Sound recording, Sound design and updated animatic

We were back in the sound studio this Monday to record more voices for crocodile tears. It went much better this time and we were able to record nearly all of what we needed. We are also working with Matthew Ralph; a third year sound design student who had begun to make us a sound database.

Crocodile Tears: Foley and Sound FX Recording

I booked out the sound and foley studio in order to record some sound effects ready for the animators to use in their scenes.

Crocodile Tears: Production

As Darren had already sorted out the story and animatic for Crocodile Tears, I was able to jump straight in and set up a google drive folder. In the spreadsheet I included:

- Contact sheet
- Production Pipeline
- Shot Breakdown
- Shot Status
- Animator's tasks and  Deadlines

I also booked out a Digi suite, invited everyone interested in animating, created a sign up sheet and a Facebook Event.

Crocodile Tears: Producer!

Darren Smith Director of Crocodile tears has welcomed me onto his project as the producer! All his work can be seen via his blog here: http://blogofdaz.blogspot.co.uk/
